TRP offers its services to customers in accordance with the highest standards of quality and a commitment to responsibility. 

This responsibility is carried out through actions tending to reduce the impact on the environment that might be produced by its business, thus contributing to protect the community to which it belongs.

Environmental Responsibility

TRP is committed to the protection of the environment. Certification ISO 14.000 accounts for this commitment, reflected by its compliance with international regulations, the appropriate waste management and the continuous improvement of tasks tending to reduce the impact on the environment.

Lower power consumption

During 2009, Engineering management carried out a study to assess the possibility of changing RTGs lights for low consumption lights.  Due to the successful results of this study, the crane lights started to be replaced.

Emergency brigade

The Emergency brigade is formed by the employees of TRP who are interested in participating, thus contributing actively to the protection of the environment.

Treatment of liquids

Leaks

TRP is supplied with spill container plates situated in different points of the premises, used to contain potential container leaks. It also has absorbing material to act in case of potential leaks from trucks or other vehicles.

Liquid waste

A treatment plant has been set up in the company’s premises for all the liquid waste of the company, except sewage.

Waste Treatment

TRP defines the Reduction, Reutilization and Recycling of waste as the work axis.

Environmental Certificate

Year 2009. The company Shred- it acknowledged TRP for the effort made by the company to collect paper. It is a way to reduce logging, since the recycled material can be used.

Responsibility and Community

Main Objectives

To contribute to a fairer community, taking care of the nutrition, health and education of its members.
To cooperate with the logistics of other organizations, so that the encumbrances are less burdensome when the aid reaches the community.
Make donations to palliate the difficulties arising as a consequence of natural disasters.

Nutrition

Food aid was channelled through the Food Bank.
The mission of this organization is to “help those who suffer hunger, by means of requesting, storing and distributing foods suitable for consumption”. And also to “educate people in relation to hunger and malnutrition”.

Health

Several activities are carried out to foster positive behaviours in relation to their own health and the health of other people, and also to assist children suffering from serious diseases.
Prevention of addictions program: during 2009, several talks destined to prevent addictions were delivered in the company.
Aid for children with cancer program. The aid is channelled through Fundación Natalí Dafne Flexer.
The mission of this organization is to promote the access of the child with cancer to the appropriate treatment and to give the best care and support not only to the child but also his family.

Education

Regarding education topics, there are actions aimed at providing students with the elements needed.
TRP contributes to reduce the digital gap (exclusion arising from the different situation of those who can have access to new technologies and those who can not).
To that end, disused computers are donated to Fundación Equidad.

Cooperating from the logistics

Due to the characteristics of its service, TRP is part of a logistic chain that links the country with countries abroad. In this sense, steps have been taken in order to add to the helping tasks carried out by other institutions.

2009. TRP took actions to enable Fundación Favaloro to receive the donation made by the customers of a supermarket to this institution.

Acknowledgement for TRP charity contributions to the community made by the entity called Representación Especial para Acciones de Solidaridad , belonging to the  Argentine Chancery.

Donations in face of natural disasters

Over the last years, TRP has made donations to palliate the consequences of the natural disasters that took place in Salta and Misiones.
