With an investment of at least USD 220-million and a 430,000 square metre operating area, fully adjusted and refurbished, TRP operates 24 hours a day, 362 days a year.
Its facilities have:
- A 831,000 TEU/year storage capacity
- Berths for full container ships:
- A 465-metre long berth in Basin B — for berthing vessels of up to 254 metres long
- A 580-metre long berth in Basin C — for berthing two vessels; one of them, 275 metres long and the other, 260 metres long.
- Two berths for general cargo, project cargo and feeder vessels; one in Basin B, Section 6°/7° and the other in Basin A, South.

- 5 Post-Panamax gantries in Basin C
- 3 Panamax mobile gantries in Basin B
- 2 mobile cranes Gottwald HMK280 E -Total capacity 100 Tons-
- 25 RTGs
Reefer Area
- One reefer station — the largest in Latin America – with capacity to connect 1350 containers simultaneously.
- A specific area to carry out inspection tasks and PTI, with a capacity of 150 units that can be refrigerated simultaneously.
- The Terminal has four power generators of 500 KW each to guarantee the supply of electricity to reefer units at all times.
Empty container yard
- An internal depot of empty containers with a capacity of 3000 TEUs.
- External port depots, for the storage of empty containers
C.F.S.
- 2.000 square meter covered depot for project and break bulk cargo, with 1000 square meter splashboard to enable operations in adverse weather conditions.
Verification area
- The verification area – located next to the Terminal exit – has a 14-container capacity roofed platform for inspection on trucks and a 1800 square metre manoeuvring area.
Railroad
- Rail transfer station -wide gauge: 1,676 Mts. and narrow gauge: 1, 00 Mts.

The technological development of TRP aims at excellence.
Within this framework, the planning of operations is based on customers´ instructions; thus, the best productivity level is achieved, not only in loading and unloading activities but also in the delivery/reception of goods.
Furthermore, the use of the appropriate communication channels makes it easier for our customers to obtain information about each specific cargo, in addition to a timely supply and immediate availability of goods.
Security
The Terminal has a state-of-the art surveillance system ensuring the security of goods at any time.
The implementation of strict internal controls and a state-of-the art surveillance system contribute to the optimization of operations and cargo security. It is important to point out that Certification ISO 28000 was obtained in 2009.
